About Us

Prior to setting up the practice in March 2020, I have had 14 years of experience as the senior associate in the largest practice in Scotland nestled within the beautiful city of Perth. During my time there, I worked full time developing my skills and expertise with a significant amount of post graduate training.

I was appointed an NHS Vocational dental trainer in 2010 and trained young dentists for four consecutive years. During this time, I spent additional time at the local hospitals oral surgery department carrying out oral surgery procedures. I also developed significant mentoring skills and was invited to be one of 12 National Education for Scotland  appointed Dentists in Difficulty Coach Mentors. This role gave me the opportunity to help dentists that were having difficulties within there personal or professional life and support and signpost them to help them resolve their issues. In 2015 my surgical dentistry developed significantly further  allowing me to pursue my Foundation in Implant Dentistry with Straumann, one of the most highly respected implant systems available in the world.

I then followed the Faculty of General Dental Practitioner's guidance in a fully structured 5 years of personal mentored postgraduate implant training by one of the finest and most highest respected implant surgeons in the UK nestled in the Perthshire hills. This lead to my completion of the prestigious Diploma in implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2018. This is regarded as the 'gold standard' for training for implant surgeons in General Dental Practice. 

I am an active International Team of Implantology member, Association of Dental Implantologists member and an Honorary  Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. 

Outside of work I enjoy anything outside from mountain biking, hillwalking, climbing and anything that usually involves getting soaking wet! 

Sadie embarked on her professional journey in 2004 as a Dental Nurse, driven by a passion for oral health care. Her dedication led her to pursue further education, culminating in her qualification as a dental hygienist in 2010. After honing her skills and expertise, Sadie made a significant move to Edinburgh, where she contributed her knowledge to the field of dental hygiene.

In 2023, Sadie embarked on a new chapter by joining the team here Cherry Court Dental Care and  Implant clinic, where she continues to provide excellent care to her patients. Beyond her professional endeavours, Sadie finds joy in her personal life, cherishing moments with her young family and enjoys waling with her beloved cocker spaniel, Rudy.

Rachel a dedicated professional with a lifelong passion for dentistry. She discovered this passion at a young age, showcasing her commitment to the field early on. In primary school, a project on dentistry earned her an impressive A grade, implanting the idea of pursuing a career in dentistry.

With over 36 years of experience in the dental field, Rachel has a diverse and enriching career. She has worked between various settings, including private referral implant clinics, NHS practices, and public dental services. Her commitment to community health is evident through her work with special needs individuals, urban populations facing challenges such as drug addiction and homelessness, and those affected by blood-borne viruses.

A notable chapter in Rachels's career unfolded at Spittal Street, where she worked with the harm reduction unit, addressing the unique dental needs of diverse groups. She also contributed to patient care at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, specifically in Ward 41 of the infectious diseases unit.

The turning point of Rachel's career occurred when she crossed paths with John at an emergency dental hub. This encounter led to her to subsequently be offered a position as Senior Nurse and Clinical Manager at Cherry Court. Embracing this opportunity, Rachel has found fulfilment in contributing to the success of the team.

In addition to her professional achievements, Rachel recently achieved a Diploma in Implant Dental Nursing, further solidifying her expertise in the field, and is going on to further studying.

Outside of the dental practice, Rachel enjoys a well-rounded life. She maintains a healthy lifestyle by going to the local gym and enjoys walking and sharing meals with friends.

From a childhood dream to a fulfilling career, my journey in dentistry has been a lifelong pursuit. Since I was little, the fascination with dentistry has been ingrained in me, leading me on a path of exploration and growth.

After graduating from school in 2015, I embarked on my formal education in Dental Nursing at New College Lanarkshire, where I earned my NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing. Eager to expand my skills, I pursued further education, obtaining my HND in Dental Nursing, equipping me with additional skills for surgical settings.

My professional experience spans across general practice, where I've improved my skills in various aspects of dentistry, including assisting in oral surgery and dental implant procedures. In 2021, I achieved a significant milestone by graduating with a BSc Degree in Dental Nursing from the University of West of Scotland, joining a select group of only about 30 graduates nationwide at the time with this prestigious qualification.

Within dentistry, my passion lies in assisting with oral surgery and implants. Complementing my academic achievements, I also hold a CBCT level 1 certificate, earned through practical application in the dental practice. I'm committed to furthering my expertise by pursuing the Diploma in Implant Dental Nursing.

 Outside the dental clinic, you'll find me pursuing my other passions, whether it's mastering Olympic lifts in the gym, embracing wild swimming, enjoying going to concerts, watching the British Superbike races, or travel.

With over three decades of dedicated experience in customer service and office management across industries such as travel, property management, and retail.

Raised in Peebles, Nicola embarked on her career journey in the travel industry where she delivered excellent customer service and built positive relationships with her clients and work colleagues.

Throughout her career Nicola has demonstrated her dedication to ensuring the clients she works with receive the highest levels of service.  Her communication skills and attention to detail have been key in her ability to exceed expectations.

In 2022, Nicola embarked on and exciting new chapter in her career by transitioning to the dental sector as Practice Manager at Cherry Court. Drawing upon her experience and expertise, Nicola is passionate about driving the practice’s growth and success while maintaining a focus on delivering excellent customer service and patient care.

Nicola’s commitment to continuous improvement and professional development is evident in her recent completion of a management course at the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University, further enhancing her leadership and management skills.

Outside of the workplace, Nicola enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a passion for cooking , enjoys staying active through exercise and walking, and is dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as evidenced by her completion of an online nutrition course.

With her extensive experience, dedication and commitment to personal and professional growth, Nicola is a valuable asset to the team at Cherry Court, contributing significantly to the success and growth of the business.

Born and raised in Peebles, Maureen attended Skirling Primary School, before continuing her education at Peebles High School. With a strong foundation in the local community, she has always valued the importance of contributing to and supporting the area.

Maureen has had a diverse professional background, gaining experience in various rolls including banking, postal services, bookkeeping and administration. Though her roles she has developed a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and is committed to delivering high-quality service.

Beyond the workplace, Maureen likes to enjoy trips to the theatre and cinema. She also enjoys  dining out and cherishes her time spent with her six grandchildren.
